Policy Background
Saber (Saudi Electronic Conformity Platform) is an electronic customs clearance system launched by the Saudi Standards, Metrology and Quality Organization (SASO) in 2019, replacing the previous COC certification. Almost all goods exported to Saudi Arabia (with very few low-risk categories eligible for exemption) must obtain a conformity certificate through the Saber platform, otherwise customs clearance is impossible.
